StatementI have been painting since childhood, and consider art making a primary purpose in my life. I have always been drawn to beautiful landscapes, be they the rolling hills and lush bottom
lands of Missouri where I grew up, or the Hudson Valley where I have lived for over fifty years. Our magnificent river is my primary subject.
