Ever Present

Created in a group studio session with an art pro model, I used watercolor paints with pen and ink. For the same reason that I like plein air painting in the raw outdoors connecting with an organic scene in front of me, I love and much appreciate the immediacy and challenge of capturing my experience of a live breathing being in front of me holding a temporary pose. If the model is a professional with an artistic sensibility that means the artist is blessed with an "ever present" pose which can only improve the creative connection and thus the resulting painting. I believe that was the case with this work.
